Soundgarden was supposed to headline Rock on the Range in Columbus, Ohio on Friday night. With the death of Chris Cornell on Wednesday that obviously didn’t happen. It didn’t stop some of the bands from playing Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog songs to honour his memory.

Corey Taylor of Stone Sour gets the crowd to help him sing Chris’s part on “Hunger Strike.”

Live recently reunited with original singer Ed Kowalczyk. They performed Audioslave’s “I Am the Highway.”

Bush did a little bit of “Black Hole Sun.”

Metallica “forgave” Chris during their performance at Gillette Stadium and Robert Trujillo riffed on “Black Hole Sun” between songs.

Rest in peace, Chris.
