San Diego Comic Con was on this weekend which means we got a ton of trailers and info about the upcoming comic book movies and geeky things in general!

Some big announcements from Marvel including which Oscar winning actress has signed on to play the studios first female superhero getting her own solo movie!

 

Marvel Studios took over Hall H yesterday evening to give us a look at what’s coming up from them. First off, Marvel gave us a new company logo!

Next up, Marvel Studios introduced the cast of the upcoming “Black Panther” movie. We were first introduced to Black Panther earlier this year in “Captain America: Civil War” and he was one of the best parts! When this movie is released, it’ll with be the first superhero movie lead by a black character!! The movie stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Erik Kilmonger and Danai Gurira! Below is the official logo!

After that, Marvel talked about the third movie for THOR. It’s called “Thor: Ragnarok” Chris Hemsworth will return as the title character this time joined by HULK (Mark Ruffalo) and a really amazing cast that includes: Cate Blanchette, Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum and Karl Urban! Marvel debuted a new logo for the movie as well. We have to wait until next year for the Thor movie!

The studio then introduced the cast of Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” (Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams) and gave us a new movie poster AND the second trailer

This movie looks very different, very cool and very trippy!!

 

Doctor Strange is out in November!

 

We also got a new logo for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2″ and some concept are from next years “Spiderman: Homecoming”

The biggest reveal of the night for Marvel Studios came when the casts of all of their movies at the panel joined on stage for a massive group pic and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige brought on Oscar winning actress Brie Larson!!! It’s official, she’ll be playing “Captain Marvel“ which will be the company’s first female solo superhero movie!
