The double LP will have tracks from The White Stripes, The Raconteurs and White’s solo efforts.

Jack White doesn’t seem to know the meaning of the phrase “take it easy.”

In the past few months he’s been “taking a break.” During this “break” he recorded an acoustic album with Pearl Jam, co-produced a Beyoncé song, and played the first record in space.

His new effort, Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016, is available September 9th on his label Third Man Records.

The first song he’s letting us get our grubby little ears on is “City Lights.” Originally from the Get Behind Me Satan sessions in 2005.
