Good on the NHL! Why should that little snot factory get a free ride?!

OK. Maybe that’s harsh but really… who brings an infant to an outdoor hockey game?

That kid is not going to have fun.

Sure most NHL teams let kids 2 and under go for free. But those games are indoors and there are any number of places to warm up. Look, I get that these parents are big hockey fans and they want a family outing but if they can afford $800 to see a freakin’ hockey game they can afford a babysitter. Plus if the kid “can’t even hold his head up yet” (that’s their reason for why he should get in for free) then why would you think he’d enjoy the experience?

That little girl in the video is probably 3 and she would give anything to be watching Dora right now instead of being at a sporting event.

So back to the Heritage Classic. Just think of the people sitting around the kid. They paid their $400 each to watch a great game but now they have to listen to a baby scream every time he’s startled and have to smell his full diaper.

Here’s the kicker. People have offered the parents money to pay for Junior’s ticket… and the parents REFUSED! They want the policy changed.

Let’s face it. Even if you’re not a huge sports fan I think you can agree that keeping a newborn outside in late October for 3+ hours is a terrible idea. These parents need to get over themselves and find a sitter for their baby.
