Two days. It’s only been two days since I read the news and I still don’t know how I feel about the passing of Chris Cornell.

That’s not exactly true. I’m sad he’s gone but also happy he’s not in pain. I’m confused because I don’t have answers and I’m fucking mad! I guess we all process things differently.

Whether or not you’re a fan of his no one can deny that he helped pave the way for grunge in the 90s. He was loved and respected by so many. It hit everyone by surprise and so many rockers shared their reactions this week.

Heart’s Wilson sisters wrote: “It’s important now to keep thoughts of Chris positive,” Ann wrote. “He is on his way. We loved him well, now wish him well on his journey. He was and is a beautiful soul.” Nancy added: “No one is ever prepared to hear about a death in the family. And today Chris Cornell my brother from my Seattle music family is gone. I thought his voice would forever grace the world of music. Devastating.”

Ann wanted to pay tribute to her late friend Thursday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

As you were.
