Total bummer.

Dave Grohl has quashed the rumors that he’s a part of the upcoming Queen’s Of The Stone Age album – their follow-up to 2017’s Villains.

ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons appears to be the one who started the rumor, claiming he and Grohl had been working with lead singer Josh Homme on the album.

In an interview with NME, Grohl says “…I’m not on the new Queens record… what Josh and I have been doing together? Riding motorcycles and eating waffles. That’s it. Let me tell you, it’s a fun morning. We’ve done it more than a few times and it’s pretty f*cking great.”

Kind of disappointing that Grohl isn’t involved in the record but the big question is: how do we get an invite to one of those waffles and motorcycle hangouts?!
