Soundgarden have claimed ownership of some of Chris Cornell’s final recordings, in response to the lawsuit filed by Cornell’s widow, Vicky.

Vicky Cornell pursued legal action in December against her late husband’s band-mates and their manager, accusing them of withholding royalties from the Cornell estate, so they could get back demos made before Chris Cornell’s death in 2017.

A motion to dismiss was filed on behalf of the band on Monday, February 4th.
