Metallica is celebrating the “30th Anniversary” of the legendary Black Album (Self-Titled album) this year, by releasing a few special edition versions of their classic album. Not only will there be a Box Set that every Metallica fan will want to own, but they’re also releasing “The Metallica Blacklist”, which is a 53 track covers album that will benefit various charities.

The Blacklist album will be split into four different discs, featuring various artists delivering their own takes on the “Black Album” songs. Artists include Corey Taylor, Weezer, Miley Cyrus, Ghost, Royal Blood, Darius Rucker, Chris Stapleton, Volbeat, and more.

Check out our first sneak peak at one of the songs that will be featured on “The Blacklist Album”. It’s Miley Cyrus featuring Elton John, WATT, Yo-Yo Ma, Robert Trujillo (Metallica) and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) covering Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”. I know what you’re saying… “Really!? Miley Cyrus!?” But it’s absolutely INCREDIBLE!
