Eddie Vedder’s 17-year-old daughter Olivia has made her recording debut singing a song written by her father and his friend Glen Hansard.

The track called “My Father’s Daughter,” which appears on the Flag Day soundtrack, dropped a few days earlier than expected. The film hits theatres on August 20th, and was actually filmed right here in Winnipeg! The soundtrack also includes new tracks from Eddie Vedder, who’s worked on the Score for Penn’s 2007 film Into the Wild, Hansard and Cat Power.

The film, directed by Sean Penn, stars his daughter Dylan Penn.
